Here, in the East, as we dig out from yet another major snow storm, many of the points you raised regarding delegation of responsibilities, maintain appropriate lists i.e. customers, vendors, distributors etc. are in practice as I write this. I spoke with a major insurance carrier yesterday and their contingent plans were deployed as they awaited the storm.
